So what if the ears are missing? This is progress on the face I've made from Tuesday's skull sculpts. Obviously there is a lot left to do, but this is worth posting so I can see the progress later. At this point, I'm still blocking in the muscle structures and other landmarks.

This is a rough concept for the Creature of the Blue Lagoon. He's intended to be a regal or "good." The top three are zbrush sculpts with tweaked photoshopped variations below. He also sings cuban salsa music. I was watching StarWars episode 2 while doing these so there are likely resemblances to creatures/characters there that I'll see tomorrow morning.
Hey there. I was having some fun with Alchemy this evening can conjured up some unique busts. This is for another zbrushworkshops.com class (3D Concepting for Production). Alchemy, available at http://al.chemy.org/, is a stress-free way to get random shapes and I've found it to be a good way to break "writer's block" in the past. Using it again tonight opened up a lot of possibilities for a project.
This is a cartoony catapult I made in maya and zbrush. It was painted with Polypaint and Projection Master. I was working on getting this object to look functional yet wonky.
I'm taking a couple of classes here: http://www.zbrushworkshops.com/
These are with the instructors Kris Costa and Justin Goby Fields This is a quick assignment to refresh what the human skull is doing. This was quick and fun. |
