This past weekend I was a part of a team that competed in a Code-a-thon put on by Health Technology Forums. We put in a good effort and on Sunday were awarded Second Place. The team members on this were Kevin Hines, Ryan Prince, and I with some very excellent consultation by the founders of Concrn - http://www.concrn.com/, Doug Marks and Jacob Savage. Claire Kaufman also consulted remotely.
The purpose of the App is to allow people who struggle with mental wellness increase self-awareness and empower them to reach out to trusted friends, doctors, and clinicians with the touch of a button. Kevin, who is a mental health advocate and speaker, shares his 10 Steps for Living Mentally Well in this app and will ask users to share stories that promote the mental wellness of the community.
Kevin's site and Story can be found here:

Thank you to Health Technology Forums for allowing us to participate and we look forward to attending the 2014 HTF Innovation Conference next week.
Below is some of the artwork I've put together for the app and its presentation.
